So much of the 2023 summer season was about the Gentlemen of Aspen gaining steam on the rugby pitch. More than 40 athletes turned out as the club went on to win the Rocky Mountain Rugby title in the Mountain League, losing only one game along the way in the strongest rebound from COVID-19 yet.
But 2024 will see an ever greater bound back toward the heydays of the club when it was contending for national titles and drawing top-ticket players from around the world. Starting in the fall of 2024, the Gents will return to the Rocky Mountain Rugby Premiership — the highest level of rugby the state has to offer and the league that qualifies teams for regional and national competition.
