The Ladies of Aspen Rugby Football Club was founded in 2024. After having a handful of women’s players coming out for touch over the years, and some players even traveling across the state to play, an official squad was put together, becoming the sister club of the Gentlemen of Aspen. We saw numbers grow as the summer went on and the team build under the tutelage of Fred Waititi. 

At Ruggerfest  2024 we had our first official representation of Aspen women in Ruggerfest who joined in the RMR Selects side for the women’s open bracket. A huge occasion for rugby in the Roaring Fork Valley and hopefully we can use this as the first step forward in our journey.
