Patrick Culley suffered a traumatic injury in a rugby game playing for the Gentlemen of Aspen against Boston two years ago. He has been confined to a wheel chair since then. However, Patrick who is in his twenties has been working relentlessly to overcome the constraints of his injury. He attends some of the best physical therapy programs available in southern California where he lives with his brother. Improvement has been slow. He can now move most of his upper body and has had brief moments where he has experienced feeling in parts of his legs.
This year Patrick has turned his attention back towards pursuing a career and he will be attending landscape architecture school.
